The Del Monte Lodge Renaissance Rochester Hotel & Spa, Rochester

My stay at the hotel was largely enjoyable with exceptionally clean and well-decorated rooms, along with a picturesque setting by the Erie Canal. The staff were welcoming and kind, making for a pleasant experience. However, some aspects like the lack of amenities due to staffing shortages and limited dining options were disappointing, particularly given the price I paid.

The hotel offers an exceptional stay with its beautiful setting along the Erie Canal, clean and luxurious rooms, and impressively attentive staff. The dining experience at the Erie Grill was delightful, though it was quite busy during our visit. While everything else was outstanding, a warm recognition of loyalty as a rewards member would have made it even better.

My stay at the Del Monte Inn was met with a mix of highs and lows. The location by the Erie Canal was picturesque and the hotel had a beautiful setting. However, the issues with the heating in our room and the lack of prompt support from management really dampened the experience. Overall, I left feeling disappointed, especially as a longtime rewards member.

However, the heating system in my room was quite loud, which was a bit disruptive at times. Overall, I deeply appreciated the unique decor and the location along the scenic Erie Canal, even though the morning breakfast hours could have been better.
